Coming from a military family, her love for travel stems from living in and learning new cultures from diverse parts of the world. Jeanine has been assisting travellers with their vacation plans for 24 years. Having lived in the Orient and Italy as well as visited other parts of the world, she has always been excited learning about new places and meeting new people. But her heart belongs to Europe. In fact, she can't count the number of times she has "crossed the pond" to experience the cultural diversity of the many countries that make up the Old World.  She loves planning European sojourns that involve multiple modalities including rail, car, air, and hotels. The more complicated, the better because she likes a challenge and enjoys researching new and exciting destinations.

Jeanine also has a fondness for the Caribbean and the Riviera Maya area in Mexico which makes her the perfect travel professional to consult when planning a trip to these tropical destinations.

Bob comes from a traveling family. In fact, his Grandfather and Uncle owned and operated a Travel Agency for over 50 years. He is a Certified Travel Counselor by the Institute of Certified Travel Agents as well as a Certified Specialist with the Airlines Reporting Corporation. In addition to having visited most destinations, Bob is a certified specialist by the tourism offices of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Japan, Hawaii, Mexico, most European countries, and South Africa. He is a cruise specialist for Norwegian Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, and Carnival Cruise Line. He is an expert in train and adventure travel and has planned and arranged treks to India and Nepal, Egypt and Jordan, as well as China.

Bob believes that travel is a prerequisite to understanding our world and to world peace. The more people travel, the more they learn of different cultures, history, and the bounty of nature. His reason for being a travel professional is to give people the chance to experience new places, to see and do more things, to enjoy life to it's fullest.

Her experience with the physically challenged has given her a unique insight into the special problems they may face when dealing with airlines, cruise lines, tour companies, or hotels. With 10 years of experience as a travel consultant and many visits to tropical destinations, she is the ideal person to fulfill your vacation dream.

Laurie's expertise is in corporate and group travel. Although she may not always be dealing directly with the travelers she plans for, her foremost concern is their total satisfaction. She believes that customer service is a lost art in this fast paced world and her mission is to restore it.  She also realizes her business clients want efficiency and practicality. So she makes sure that even the most complicated itinerary will offer the highest value.

For those who are lucky enough to be her leisure clients, her goal is to make their vacation plans as stress free as possible.  This especially includes couples who are planning on getting married because, in addition to her other talents, she is a wedding and honeymoon destination specialist. Laurie has been a travel professional for over 17 years and has traveled extensively in the Middle East and Europe.

Being a native of Trinidad, Marlene is a true "Island Girl." This helps her bring a special flavor and knowledge to the vacations she arranges in the Caribbean Islands.  Her affinity with the ocean has prompted her to become an expert on cruising and Cruise Lines as well as other island destinations like Tahiti and Hawaii.

She is a devoted mother to 2 teenagers and understands that families have special needs while on vacation. She especially enjoys planning for families and making sure that every member is guaranteed to have a good time. In fact, Marlene is a designated Disney specialist. 

Marianne came to Village Travel Service 20 years ago from a major travel wholesaler, bringing years of experience in creating vacation packages to Mexico and Hawaii. She enjoys the opportunity to continue learning about these and many other destinations as she visits an ever growing list of fascinating places. The result is a formidable knowledge of many tricks of the trade, allowing her to plan a greater experience and more fun into your vacation.

Marianne is especially fond of the Western United States with Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks being two of her favorites. In fact, she has made it her specialty to advise clients on the many options for enjoying such wonderous landscapes. In addition to these, the Hawaiian Islands and Alaska are also high on her list of destinations she promotes as perfect vacations. 

Anna started working in the travel industry as an airline employee. This gave her a unique insite into the complexity of  travel.  Her expertise in scheduling and ticketing makes her the perfect "go to" person for corporate and business clients who need efficiency and practicality in their travel plans. But she is not all work and no play.  Anna loves to help families with their vacation plans.  Especially if their plans are to go to Hawaii because that is her favorite destination. You name the island, Anna can arrange the perfect vacation. 

She enjoys helping all of her clients plan trips to fun and exotic places throughout the world.

After 25 years of service, Margaret retired from the city of Redding and began her second career as a travel consultant.  Her 18 years with Village Travel has allowed her to explore many corners of the world. Among her favorites are Hawaii and Tahiti, her primary specialties. She also is a Disney vacation specialist.

But cruising is one of Margaret's favorite types of travel. She especially likes Holland America Line and Princess Cruises although she is familiar with, if not an expert on, all cruise products. Whether on land or sea, Margaret loves helping people fulfill their vacation dreams. She is always happy and full of smiles.  

Although Diane is the new kid in the office, she brings a wealth of travel experience to an already seasoned travel crew. Her combination of 18 years with two major airlines and 17 years as a travel consultant makes her the perfect addition to the Redding office.

Shannon loves the excitement and challenge of being a travel professional in this ever-changing world. Her fondest memories are of places she's been; from road trips with her parents, or Tahiti with her friends, to the blue pristine waters of the Caribbean. These she constantly keeps in mind while helping her clients make their travel plans. Why shouldn't their vacations result in fond memories and even better? She is aware of the choices custormers have when looking for travel advice and never looses sight over their need for service.  That is why she takes great pride when they come back year after year and refer friends and families to her expertise.

Jan considers herself a "Travel Diva" and has been a consultant for 22 years. Her journeys have taken her to the Caribbean, Tahiti, Hawaii, Russia, Scandinavia, and most of Europe including the Mediterranean and Turkey. Cruising is one of her favorite vacations and, she believes, an outstanding value. She loves the pampering, gourmet meals, and the convenience of unpacking once while enjoying the sights of many different and exotic stops.

Kathleen spends most of her free time exploring popular destinations throughout the world. But there are a few she especially likes including Hawaii, New Zealand, and Ireland. Having been in customer service for over 25 years, Kathleen realizes how important it is to listen to her clients' needs and to satisfy them, paying close attention to every travel detail.
